Mount Everest

Mount Everest is the one of the highest mountain in the world. Mount Everest, also known in Nepal as Sagarmatha and in Chaina as ChomolungmaReaching 8,848 Meaters above sea level. Located in the Mahalangur section of the Himalayas, the mountain's straddles the border separating China and Nepal.

The mountain's height was first determined in 1856 by British Indian survey team (The Great Trigonometrical Survey of India), Known to them as Peak XV, at 8,840 meters. The current official height of 8,848 m as recognised by China and Nepal was established by a 1955 Indian survey and subsequently confirmed by  a Chinese survey in 1975. China measured the height of the Mount Everest again and got result 8,844.43 M. Chinese survey team  was measured by its rock height which is 8,844 m but Nepal said its should be measured by its snow height 8,848 m. Finally it was agreement in 2010 by both sides that the hight of Everest is 8,848 m and Nepal recognises China's claim that the rock height of Everest is 8,844 m.

Mount Everest is knows as Sagarmatha in Nepal, Chomolungma in China,  In 1865, the Royal Geographical Society upon a recommendation by Andrew Waugh, the British Survey or General of India was given its official english name is Mount Everest. And, The Mount Everest name is worldwide name of this world highest  Peak the world.
